Mount Wellington is an ever-present part of life in Hobart, Southern Tasmania, and is visible from the city centre and most of its outlying suburbs – including Kingston where I live. Changing weather, and different light effects throughout the day change its’ appearance constantly.
Mountain Sunset 1 is one of a set of four artworks which attempt to capture something of a few of these ever-changing views of beauty.
